History
The agency was founded in Prague in early 2002. The professional experience of our current joint owners, acquired through many years of translation and activities in the environmental field, were applied in selecting external partners, on whose work the highest demands are placed, in terms of both correctly used terminology and the timely delivery of rigorous translations.
The name EKO Překlady was not chosen arbitrarily, because as well as delivering general and specialist translations in various fields, we also secure highly specialised translation services in the field of ecology and the environment (EKOlogie in Czech). All while maintaining great, or EKOnomical, prices alongside our high-quality services, flexibility and commitment to the needs of our clients. Ergo we are “EKO Překlady”.
Due to an increasing volume of orders, the agency was transformed in 2006 into the EKO Překlady s.r.o. limited liability company.
Today
We are a dependable medium-sized translation agency. Over the past two years, our annual revenue has approached 10m CZK.
Quality assurance and control
Reflecting the above-noted facts, alongside our two-stage quality control, (TÜV) ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016 certified quality management system and continuous assessment of the work of our translators, our annual complaint rate comes to less than 0.27 %, and the QMS measures we have adopted in practice mean this figure continues to fall consistently.

We also pay utmost attention to technical security in completing your orders. We make use of the latest client-server computer technology, including back-up devices connected to a high-speed optical fibre internet line.
